OctoberFast 2024 - Week 2

OctoberFast: Our annual month of prayer and fasting is underway. This year, our theme is simply our church vision statement: Enter to Worship, Exit to Serve. We will be studying Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7 and will have many opportunities each week for personal and communal times of prayer, worship, study, and fellowship. Printed OctoberFast guidebooks will be available during Sunday services, and all OctoberFast materials, including the Prayer Room sign-up, are available on our church website and app.

This week, the fast is Consuming only water or non-calorie liquids until lunchtime, and we will be meditating on Matthew 5:31-6:18.  The Prayer Room is open for 1-hour slots of prayer Monday-Friday from 9 AM-8 PM.
Here are the other weekly activities:

• Monday at 7 PM: Zoom Prayer Meeting for global and local issues
• Tuesday from 5-8 PM: Sanctuary open for self-guided personal prayer
• Wednesday at 7 PM: Bible Study
• Thursday at Noon: Public Reading of Scripture
• Friday from 3-6 PM: 4th Watch Prayer meeting
• Friday at 6:30 PM: Family Worship Service
