Resources for Solidarity with our Asian-American Brothers and Sisters

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. In honor of this, Pastor Alex is encouraging ALL of us to learn more about the history of our AAPI brothers and sisters and how we can be in solidarity with them. Bigotry and violence against the AAPI community has risen sharply over the past year. We believe every human being is made in the image of God and has inherent dignity and worth. Racism, hate, and violence against any of God’s image-bearers is unacceptable. Like the Black community, the AAPI community has a rich history in the US. Together, let's learn more about the contributions of the AAPI community and their lived experiences.

We have MANY resources available below including podcasts to listen to, movies to watch, books to read, and websites to check out. There is something for everyone! Please take some time and engage with these resources. If you want to know more about how you can join other FOL members in standing in solidarity, please contact Pastor Tyler.
