Research Opportunity - Faith-based Depression Intervention

Research Opportunity: Dr. Earlise Ward, Psychologist, has conducted research with the African American community in Madison for the past 20 years and she is grateful for their support. Recently Dr. Ward worked with faith-based leaders to develop a faith-based intervention for depression in African American adults. At this time, Dr. Ward and her research team are conducting a study to examine the effectiveness of the faith-based depression intervention. She is partnering with local churches to recruit 150 people to participate in the study. Participation involves attending 13 free classes over 3 months.
