Seminar opportunity: On Saturday, May 4th, First United Methodist Church, a Nehemiah church partner, is hosting two speakers, Dr. Glenna Jackson and Mr. Sam Dzobo, exploring the topic, “Are Jesus’ Teachings Relevant in Today’s World?” The morning lecture is titled, “Reconstructing the Stories of Jesus from a Rural African Perspective,” and the afternoon lecture is titled, “A Picture of Jesus’ Parables: Looking Outside the Frame.” For more info and to register, see https://downtownforgood.org/lyonslecture/
