Mother Verline

Mother Verline: In case you have not already heard, Mother Verline Gee-Fleming went to her eternal home with Jesus this past Monday, January 1st after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was the last remaining founder of Fountain of Life, which began as a small home church that met in her living room when Pastor Alex and Rev. Lilada were children. She was a pillar of faith and instrumental in the development of our church body and church leaders. All of us at Fountain of Life are part of her shared legacy. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 3rd from 11 AM-1 PM here at FOL. In addition, we are planning a special observance of her ministry as part of our morning worship service on Sunday, February 4th. Please keep the Gee and Fleming families in your prayers as they grieve this profound loss. Cards can be sent to the church office (633 W.
