Just Show Up - A New Nehemiah Series
You are invited to Nehemiah's new series called "Just Show Up: Conversations About Race and Faith." This series is geared towards Christians and Christ-followers who want to continue learning, listening, and leaning in on their faith journey as would-be allies. Each session, we'll listen to part of the audiobook "Subversive Witness: Scripture's Call to Leverage Privilege" by Dominique DuBois Gilliard and then discuss what we've heard. Together we'll explore how allyship connects with our faith. The best part: No reading to do in preparation. Just show up to any session!
This event, hosted by Nehemiah/Justified Anger volunteers AJ Kieler and FOL member Joel Ballivian, meets every first and third Thursday of the month from 6:30-7:30 PM over Zoom. The link will remain the same each month, but you'll be required to register for the meeting each month for security purposes.
